Tensors and Change of Coordinates

In physics the use of the spherical or cylindrical coordinates is often the only way to develop a subject at an acceptable level of difficulty, as such a use allows us to benefit from the simplifications coming from the existing symmetry (spherical or cylindrical, indeed). Here is a treatise with tensors and also a classical one, without tensors.
