Neutrino flux detection does not require an ionization event as they are detected constantly exchanging energy via a Raman process. The neutrino flux constantly interactswith matter by the overwhelming pressure of the large number of field-matter interactions. These interactions overtake the poor weak force coupling to matter producinga measurable neutrino Raman energy exchange.
