Investigated is a possible model in which spacetime signature is not a fixed background property but emerges from a dynamical Clifford-fiber structure. The fundamental object is assumed to be a local Clifford module with an internal two-state fiber. The two fiber orientations correspond to different realizations of the underlying Clifford structure. A degenerate vacuum state with vanishing signature order parameter undergoes a phase transition into two non-degenerate signature phases, whereby the norm of signature is assumed as a conservation quantity (law) of zero during the splitting in phase transition of different signature states.
